Real Property Management

The Alaska Army National Guard conducts a multitude of real estate transactions every year, whether it be facility long-term leasing or rental, property acquisition or disposal or transfer, right-of-way easements, etc. The Facilities Management Office's Realty Officer coordinates and initiates these various endeavors based on projected construction as well as other associated facility activities. His duties also include:
  • Coordinating, preparing preliminary reports, and processing the Installation Status Report, Part I for the AKARNG
  • Maintaining the Alaska Army National Guard's Federal and State Real Property Records
  • Maintaining the Facilities, Installations & Stationing Plan (FISP) records for the Alaska Army National Guard
If you are interested in acquiring surplus AKARNG property, renting or leasing our facilities, or other related real estate issues, please contact Major Nicholas Henegan at 428-6750. Or via email; nicholas.henegan@us.army.mil -or- nicholas_henegan@fmd.dmva.state.ak.us.

Under certain circumstances, our facilities may be leased to the general public. Alaska Army National Guard Regulation 420-12 regulates and stipulates the basic rental requirements (arrangements, events, non-profits, payment, rates, etc.,) for all AKARNG facilities throughout Alaska.
